Frankfurt

So we piddled in Frankfurt, trying to fight jet lag.
Plane ride over the Atlantic

Our boutique hotel is cute and the staff are helpful.
We walked through "old town" and several platzes.  We stepped inside St. Katherine's,   Liebfrauenkirche Church and then we walked around The Romer or Rohmer platz. http://www.worldtravelimages.net/Frankfurt_Romer.html
We sat in a platz and tried aplwein...but squinted our eyes at each sour sip.  The dunkel, pork sausage and potatoe salad were delicious!
A gypsy woman came up to dad after he had finished eating, begged for money and when he didn't respond, she snatched one of his balls of mashed potatoes.
The Platz (which can mean "park" or "plaza".)
Our dinners in Frankfurt, a curried chicken dish for me and schnitzel for Yvonne.
